The Ang Shee General Association held a dinner party at the association premises on the 8th day of the eight-lunar month, to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival. Following further relaxation of the Covid-19 pandemic prevention measures from August 29, people could remove their masks in most situations. This allowed the clan members to gather together with more freedom. That night, the adults chatted leisurely and freely at the association, while the children lighted up Fairy Love sparklers, setting off bright sparks, and had great fun. I’m sure this brought back many fun childhood memories for the adults, which made them treasure this hard won normalcy even more.
